Not my best week.

Ked had her tonsils out on Monday and it is proving to be every bit as miserable as the doctor said it would be. Poor girl. The twins lost their double elimination play-off game on Tuesday 15 to 1. Poor boys. I caught a horrible head cold sitting on cold metal bleachers in a cold rain cheering on a losing Little League team. Poor me. The sun is shining today. Hopefully it is a turning point.

Newest Altar Boy

Kenny served at his first mass last night. He was the picture of 8 year old devotion constantly looking up to Father and his older brothers for guidance. A lady came up to me afterwards and said he looked like an angel. And he did. I was so proud of my boys I thought I'd float away.

Cycling for a cure

Cycling for a cure is the blog of a local fellow who is biking across the country to raise money and awareness of John Kanzius' cancer treatment. It should be an exciting journey.

Saint Anthony's

I've started a new blog for my homeschooling ramblings. St. Anthony has been my homeschool patron saint since we became Catholic because on most days I had to call on him to help find things in the clutter! Now I hope he will guide us on our journey to find what was lost of the glory of Christendom. Sounds serious, and it is, but not always. I have hobbits as my guides too.
