Ocular Athletics VII

Claws and Teeth by Adam

Claws and teeth are an animal's most useful weapons. Animals could not hunt and carnivores would soon be extinct. A claw is best at slashing, digging, climbing and carrying. Have you ever seen an animal hunt, say a snow leapard? Snow leopards live in the mountains. Their main prey is mostly mountain goats. A snow leopard's coat is mostly white but have brown spots all over it. This pattern is excellent for camouflage. When a snow leopard hunts it goes inch by inch. It slips down the mountain side, then when it is just above its pray it pounces. It usually misses, but when it doesn't it sticks claws in its prey's sides and bites it's neck with his teeth. So you see, an animal would be helpless.

Swords by J.C. M.

Swords origin:unknown. Probably sometime in the Iron Age, but anyway, we digress. Swords, as you know or better know, where used in the Middle Ages by knights. However, back to now, my three brothers and I like to use swords, only wooden ones, but we use them like real swords. Sam , the eldest boy, is best. Then the twins, Adam and Joe (me) are second and Ken, the youngest, is third. Swords, real swords are made of metal and have guards.
